WRU talks over Regions' extra £1m to keep big name players in Wales
Officials from the Welsh Rugby Union (WRU) are meeting bosses from the four regions to discuss how to spend an extra £1m they have been allocated.
The discussions will focus on whether the money can be used to keep big name players like Wales skipper Sam Warburton and Leigh Halfpenny in the Welsh game.
It comes as the WRU publishes its annual report.
It says it is investing record amounts into the game at all levels, despite a small drop in profits, and bosses hope they can persuade their top stars to stay in Wales.
WRU chief executive Roger Lewis spoke to Gareth Lewis about the annual report and Wednesday's talks.
