Enthusiastic Lord Kinnock 'shown from seat' at Cardiff City match

Former Labour Party leader Lord Kinnock said being escorted from his seat at a Cardiff City football match was all "good humoured".

He and his family had mistakenly sat in the home stand at Fulham's Craven Cottage ground in west London.

When the lifelong Bluebirds' fans celebrated with "great joy, standing up" when Cardiff scored, they were "shown" to the visitors' stand.

Lord Kinnock told Nelli Bird: "The last thing I wanted to do was cause them any trouble or offend anyone's sensibilities."
