Whistle-blowing policy could leave people feeling 'threatened'

A new whistle-blowing policy puts staff off reporting poor NHS care, BBC Wales has learned.

Doctors believe the All Wales Whistle-blowing Policy, published in July, is complicated and could leave people confused or threatened.

The Welsh government said it would review it before the end of March 2014.

Cathy James, chief executive of the campaigning charity Public Concern at Work, told Nelli Bird on BBC Radio Wales it was unclear who the policy was aimed at.
