Stroke survivor urges better care in Wales

A stroke survivor says Wales should look towards Europe as a benchmark of care and improving death rates.

Evan Wilson, from the Vale of Glamorgan, who has suffered two strokes, said the Welsh government must consult with European countries, not England, because care and survival there is far better.

A report published on Tuesday said Wales continues to lag behind other European nations despite previous reviews into care.

Mr Wilson spoke to Mai Davies on the Good Morning Wales programme.
