National Museum Cardiff marks World War One centenary

A series of events will be held across the world next year to mark 100 years since the start of World War One.

The First World War Centenary Partnership's Programme, which is being launched by the Imperial War Museum, is putting together film screenings, lectures, exhibitions and workshops in 14 countries including Wales.

Professor Sir Deian Hopkin is president of the National Library of Wales and chair of the Welsh Programme Committee for the First World War Centenary.

He spoke to BBC Radio Wales.
