Armistice Day is marked around Wales

Thousands of people have taken part in Armistice Day commemorations around Wales to honour those who have died since World War One.

The two-minute silence was marked in Wrexham, Aberystwyth, Swansea and at the Senedd in Cardiff Bay.

Meanwhile at the Royal Mint in Llantrisant, Rhondda Cynon Taf, a new £5 Remembrance Day coin was made.
