Cardiff Airport ruled out of UK's expansion shortlist

Cardiff Airport will never be used to alleviate congestion at airports in the south east of England, according to the airport's chief executive.

Jon Horne's statement comes on the same day that a commission set up by the UK government said Cardiff is not included in plans to increase Britain's airport capacity.
