Prof Stephen Martin: Councils shake-up 'unstoppable'
The idea of a shake-up of councils in Wales is "unstoppable" according to the director of the Public Policy Institute for Wales.
The institute, at Cardiff University, carried out research for the Williams Commission which is likely to recommend reducing the number of councils from 22 to 12, or less.
Professor Stephen Martin told Felicity Evans on BBC Radio Wales what the research entailed, and why he thinks the reorganisation should happen sooner rather than later.
