UK storms: Young residents 'scared' by Porthmadog power cuts

Young residents of Porthmadog in Gwynedd have said they were frightened by the loss of electricity caused by severe storms.

''It was really horrible... no light and everything flying in the air,'' they told the BBC's Sophie Long.

Wales' First Minister Carwyn Jones has said the storm that left almost 100,000 homes without power "could have been a lot worse".
