Fight to save Wrexham's Plas Madoc Leisure Centre goes on

Campaigners fighting to save a Wrexham leisure centre from closure say it is an "essential" part of the community.

Protesters say proposals to end funding for Plas Madoc Leisure Centre would leave them with nowhere to go.

Residents have now been given more time to see if they come up with a viable plan to run it themselves.

The proposals are part of wider plans to save Wrexham council £45m over the next five years.

Matthew Richards reports.
