Football fans got a chance to see the Fifa World Cup trophy up close as it visited Cardiff ahead of this summer's tournament in Brazil.

About 6,000 people turned out at The Hayes hoping to get a rare glimpse of the coveted trophy on Welsh soil.

The visit was part of the trophy's 267-day world tour of 88 countries.
