WJEC exam body to re-mark some GCSE English papers after review
The exam board at the centre of concerns about the low results of GCSE English language papers sat in January says it has ordered a re-grade of some papers.
But the WJEC says fewer than 1% of papers will be re-graded after they identified inconsistencies with one examiner.
Head teachers from more than 100 schools have raised concerns with the education minister, Huw Lewis.
