Great Orme goat census to take place

A census of the number of goats on Llandudno's Great Orme is to take place.

The billies, nannies and kids have been a popular feature of the Great Orme for more than a century but wardens have been trying to reduce the herd to 100 since the population expanded to 220 a decade ago.

About two thirds of the females have been vaccinated to reduce their likelihood of becoming pregnant.

Speaking to Chris Dearden at Radio Wales, country park warden Sally Pidcock explained how volunteers counted the animals.
