Llanelli MP say restaurant raids by immigration officers 'unfair'

Llanelli MP Nia Griffith has criticised raids on Asian restaurants by immigration officers looking for illegal workers in Swansea and other parts of Wales, saying the way they are conducted can affect business.

She say restaurant owners feel they are being unfairly targeted and subjected to heavy handed tactics.

The Home Office says its raids are warranted and successful as enforcement officers carried out 665 visits to premises in Wales last year and 379 people were arrested.

Cemlyn Davies reports.
