Bus cuts prevents students travelling to college, says union

Cuts to public transport will mean a generation of young people will not be able to travel to further education colleges, the National Union of Students in Wales says.

According to research carried out by the body, the majority of students rely on some form of public transport.

Some bus companies said they would have to axe some routes after the Welsh government reduced bus service funding by a quarter last year.

Beth Button, deputy president of National Union of Students in Wales, spoke to Wales Today.
