Peter Hain stepping down as Neath MP

Former Labour cabinet minister Peter Hain will stand down as the MP for Neath at the next general election.

The former Welsh Secretary is calling time on his Commons career following a series of discussions with the Labour leader Ed Miliband.

Speaking on Friday evening, he told BBC Wales why he had made the decision.
