Gwynedd school bus protest over 'dangerous' road
Parents who say their children's mile-long walk to a village primary school in Gwynedd is dangerous have staged a protest at plans to cut a bus service.
Gwynedd council is to scrap the school bus in Tal-y-Bont, near Bangor, but says a new footway will be created first.
The council says it provides school transport for pupils who live more two miles from school, unless the walking route is especially dangerous.
But parents hope their protest will lead to a rethink, and have won the support of local councillor Dafydd Meurig.
