Organisers' hope for Llangollen International Eisteddfod future

The 68th International Musical Eisteddfod in Llangollen opened on Monday night, with Bryn Terfel taking the lead role in a lavish production of Sweeney Todd.

The festival has been troubled by financial difficulties in recent years, but it looks like the introduction of acts with more star appeal could be helping turn its fortunes around.
