Glasgow 2014: Jemma Lowe's watching parents in turmoil

As the Commonwealth Games begin, focus turns to the athletes themselves but what about their families like those of Welsh swimmer Jemma Lowe.

Her parents Mike and Janet Lowe described their pride - and the turmoil they go through watching her compete - ahead of the heats for the 100m butterfly in Glasgow on Thursday, the event she took a bronze in four years ago in Delhi.

They also told BBC Radio Wales' Oliver Hides that their daughter has been busy producing a video of her Wales swimming team-mates, external which has been posted on Youtube.
