Family urges UK government to accept Iraqi refugees

Iraqi Christians living in Cardiff and the Archbishop of Wales are urging the UK government to do more to help those displaced by Islamic State (IS) fighters who have seized parts of Iraq.

They say they fear for the safety of families caught up in the crisis and are asking the UK to open its borders to refugees.

Archbishop of Wales, Dr Barry Morgan, condemned the "wholesale slaughter" in the country, while Welsh MPs think parliament should be recalled to deal with the crisis.

Nick Palit reports.
