Sport heroes add to online archive People's Collection Wales
Hundreds of items relating to 45 Welsh stars of the Olympic, Paralympics and Commonwealth Games have been uploaded to online archive People's Collection Wales.
It includes contributions from household names like Cardiff-born wheelchair racer Baroness Tanni Grey Thompson, who over her career won a total of 16 Paralympics medals, including 11 golds, and held over 30 world records.
But is also has items going back to the early 20th Century relating to people like swimmer Irene Steer, who won Wales' first female Olympic gold medal when she triumphed in 1912 and Paulo Radmilovic, who was Britain's most successful Olympian for 80 years.
Phil Cope, who put together the collection by interviewing and photographing the current sports stars, told BBC Radio Wales why it was also important to discover people that history in Wales had forgotten.
