Thousands attend Cardiff Bay armed forces' day
Thousands of people have descended on Cardiff Bay to explore warships, pretend to be a tank driver and hold the odd missile.
Following on from the Nato summit in Newport, the public was invited to meet members of the armed forces on Sunday.
The event proved to be so popular, the Royal Navy had to temporarily close the queue to board Type 45 destroyer HMS Duncan, which was more than two hours' long.
