'Unmistakable' impact on Wales if Yes vote, Hague says

Commons leader William Hague has warned that the impact of Scottish independence on Wales would be "unmistakable".

Mr Hague, a former Welsh secretary, was standing in for David Cameron at Prime Minister's Questions.

He was responding to Montgomeryshire Conservative MP Glyn Davies, who asked if people in Wales "should be hoping and praying for the rejection of the break-up of the United Kingdom?".

The vote on Scottish independence is due to be held on 18 September.
