Swansea indoor market getting £1.9m makeover

Swansea's indoor market is to get a new £1.9m roof as part of on-going attempts to rejuvenate the city centre.

It follows a survey of stall holders which revealed that the state of the leaky roof was the single biggest factor preventing more shoppers into the market.

Work will begin in January to avoid disruption to the Christmas trade.
