Porthcawl resident's coastal homes 'unsalable' worry

Thousands of people living on the Welsh coast could see a big drop in the value of their homes, under plans to stop defending properties from the sea in future.

The Welsh government says it will support communities affected by the changes.

One of the 48 areas involved is near Porthcawl. People living in properties which front onto the sea said they were concerned for the future.

Resident Huw Gosling told BBC Week In Week Out reporter Tim Rogers there were worries over the effect on local house prices as well as the homes themselves.
