April Jones murder: House 'constant reminder' of evil
Work to demolish the house where Mark Bridger is believed to have murdered five-year-old April Jones has begun.
The detached cottage in Ceinws, near Machynlleth, Powys, was bought by the Welsh government for £149,000.
Bridger, 48, abducted and then murdered April as she played with friends near her home in Machynlleth in October 2012.
He was jailed for life in May 2013. April's body has never been found, but blood and fragments of bone consistent with a young human skull were found at the house in Ceinws.
Machynlleth councillor Michael Williams welcomed the demolition as he said the house was a constant reminder of an act of evil.
