First anniversary of Rhyl floods

Residents are calling for more investment in flood defences to protect them in future exactly a year after heavy storms and high tides caused damage along the north Wales coast.

In March, the Welsh government pledged an extra £4.2m for the "swift repair" of defences.

Rhyl was one of the worst affected areas. A total of 400 people were moved out of their homes and 170 properties were flooded.

Matthew Richards reports.
