Snow falls on higher ground in Wales

Snow and heavy hail has fallen on higher ground in parts of mid, west and north Wales.

The Met Office said there was light snow in the north Pembrokeshire, while flurries have also been reported in Ceredigion and Gwynedd.

Every local authority area in Wales except Flintshire can expect wintry showers, with the Met Office issuing a yellow "be aware" warning.

It said snow was likely on higher ground, such as here at Llanuwchllyn, Gwynedd.
