Charlotte Church proud as £64m children's hospital opens

Singer Charlotte Church says she is proud to have been part of the fundraising effort for Cardiff's Children's Hospital for Wales as its second phase is opened.

The first minister officially opened the £64m development, which brings almost all specialist care for children under one roof for the first time.

Doctors say children from across Wales will benefit from a children's hospital "in the premier league" for the UK.

Church told BBC Wales health correspondent Owain Clarke the facilities were "amazing" and "immensely important".
