£50m science growth scheme 'revolutionary', professor says
A top scientist, who has joined Cardiff University to lead a new research laboratory, said it will create jobs and economic growth.
Diana Huffaker, of the University of California, Los Angeles, will become chairwoman in advanced engineering and materials.
She is the fourth appointment in the Welsh government's £50m Ser Cymru scheme, which she described as "revolutionary".
Her laboratory will research nanotechnology to be used in a range of devices.
