Daniel Bailey meets lifesaver Adam Gardner at Velothon

A man who received a bone marrow transplant paid a surprise visit to meet the stranger who saved his life 16 years ago.

Daniel Bailey presented Adam Gardner with a finisher's medal after he completed the Velothon Wales cycling race on Sunday.

"I had no idea he was coming down," said Mr Gardner from Rhondda.

The pair spoke to Gilbert John for BBC Radio Wales.
