Woman calls 999 to complain about a faulty TV
No sound on a woman's television, cancelled plane tickets and a complaint about waiting for a taxi are among the nuisance 999 calls made to North Wales Police.
The force has released audio clips of the calls as it aims to reduce the number of non-essential 999 calls.
Summer is typically the time of year when this problem spikes.
Supt Alex Goss said: "Phoning 999 - which is an emergency line - for trivial matters... is a complete waste of resources and could possibly prevent a genuine life or death emergency call being put through."
