How is Wales' economy performing?

Newly released figures give the "clearest picture" yet of the Welsh economy's performance, experts have said.

The numbers, released by the Welsh government, show Wales has the lowest gross value added (GVA) - the value of goods and services produced - within the UK.

But the numbers also show Wales is fifth out of 12 UK regions in terms of the value of residents' wealth.
