Eisteddfod 'important platform' for young performers

Young performers at the National Eisteddfod have spoken of the important role the festival has in showcasing and developing their talents.

Many of the singers and musicians, some now professional, have been performing at the event since they were children.

The National Eisteddfod is at Meifod in Powys until 8 August.
