Drink-drive victim Miriam Briddon was 'very special person'

A Ceredigion man has been jailed after pleading guilty to drink-driving and causing a crash which killed a 21-year-old woman.

Miriam Briddon died in the crash between her car and that of Gareth Entwhistle near Ciliau Aeron.

Entwhistle, 35, from the Aeron Valley, admitted causing death by careless driving while under the influence of alcohol on 29 March, 2014.

He was sentenced to five years and six months at Swansea Crown Court on Monday.

Ms Briddon's father, Richard, told BBC Wales she was a "very special person".
