Tata steel boss: 'We want a level playing field'

The man in charge of Tata's Port Talbot steel plant says there needs to be 'cash on the table' and immediate action on cheap imports.

It comes as the company announced 1,000 job losses - mostly in south Wales.

Tata said 750 posts will go in Port Talbot, while 200 support staff elsewhere would be axed.

Stuart Wilkie, hub director for the Port Talbot plant, says the decision to axe jobs was necessary to protect the future of the industry in Wales.
