NHS Wales 'lie put to bed' - Mark Drakeford

Health Minister Mark Drakeford says a major report into the NHS in the UK "puts to bed once and for all the lie" that services are poorer in Wales.

The NHS in Wales appears to be performing no better or worse than the rest of the UK, says the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD).

It looked into UK health service quality, as a political row raged over claims of a "second class" NHS Wales.

Mr Drakeford said that the report drew a line between fact and fiction.
