'Locals tried to help' as fishing boat sank off Pembrokeshire

A major search is under way for the crew of a fishing boat which has sunk off the coast of Pembrokeshire.

Coastguards received a 999 call from a member of the public just before 14:30 BST, saying the boat was in difficulty near rocks at St David's Head before it sank.

It is thought two local fishermen were on board.

Five lifeboats were at the scene on Thursday evening, as well as the Rescue 187 coastguard helicopter using thermal image cameras.

Fisherman Vivian Davies describes how locals tried to help when the boat got into trouble.
