Paralysed man Martyn Ashton takes on bike challenge
A stunt biker who was paralysed in an accident takes on his first major cycling challenge nearly three years after being injured.
Martyn Ashton, a former trail bike specialist from Margam, Neath Port Talbot, lost all feeling below his waist after breaking his back doing a stunt in a live show in 2013.
But despite weeks in hospital and ongoing rehabilitation, he was always determined to get back in the saddle.
Now he has completed his first major challenge on a specially-adapted bike - riding the World Cup downhill mountain biking course in Fort William in the Scottish Highlands.
