Cats suffer 'horrific' injuries after Ty Nant Cat Sanctuary break-in

Police are investigating a burglary at a cat sanctuary in Neath Port Talbot which led to the death and mutilation of three cats.

Two males have been arrested following the incident at Ty Nant Cat Sanctuary in Cymmer at 19:50 BST on Saturday.

An online fundraising page set up on Sunday raised more than £3,000 in just four hours.

Mandi Edmunds, a volunteer at the sanctuary, told the BBC they are "all devastated".
