Festival No.6 boss defends using flood plain car park
The event director of Festival No.6 has insisted the festival will be back next year despite problems with a car park which flooded, leaving vehicles stuck there for stays.
Jon Drape said the festival organisers were not warned not to use the site which is on a flood plain.
Both Natural Resources Wales and Gwynedd council have said organisers knew the park-and-ride facility was on a flood plain.
Speaking to BBC Wales, he said: "Houses are built on floodplains, it's not a reason we shouldn't use them."
