Wales can benefit from Hinkley Point, said Carwyn Jones

First Minister Carwyn Jones said Welsh businesses can benefit from a new nuclear power station at Hinkley Point in Somerset.

The UK government approved the £18bn nuclear power station at Hinkley Point on Thursday.

Speaking from Magellan Aerospace in Wrexham, where he launched a £16m skills training scheme, Mr Jones said there was an opportunity for businesses in Wales to act as suppliers and contractors for Hinkley Point.
