Bovine TB: Meidrim farmer faces up to cattle slaughter
A "refreshed approach" to combating tuberculosis in cattle is set to be unveiled by the Welsh Government later.
It promises to target different areas of Wales and use the "most appropriate and effective" control measures.
Farming leaders want to see the inclusion of a badger cull in the new bovine TB plans - a move fiercely opposed by wildlife groups.
Gwyndaf Thomas, who farms in Meidrim, Carmarthenshire, has been told 85 of his cows are to be slaughtered next week.
He told BBC Wales environment correspondent Steffan Messenger that, aside from the effect on his business, it could be distressing.
