Laser light 'blinds' flying doctor in Wales Air Ambulance

A Wales Air Ambulance flying doctor is recovering after being temporarily blinded when a laser light was shone into his eyes as he was flying in a rescue helicopter over Swansea Bay.

The pilot was not affected by Saturday's incident which was filmed by the on-board camera.

"This could have been catastrophic," said Wales Air Ambulance chief executive Angela Hughes.
