Mothers' mental health service 'scandal'

A Plaid Cymru AM has said it is a "scandal" that mothers with mental health needs cannot have them fully met in Wales.

Wales has been without a specialist mother and baby unit since 2013. The nearest centres are in England.

Mr Lewis said women face the choice of "being separated from either their newborn babies or their family".

The Welsh Government pointed to existing community services.
