New £1 coin 'cost Llandudno arcade owner £30,000'
An arcade owner has said it cost him £30,000 to ensure his businesses could accept the new £1 coin.
Adam Williams, who owns Llandudno Pier and five other arcades in Conwy county, had to adapt his 1,000 machines to ensure they accept the new 12-sided coin.
The new £1 coin was made at the Royal Mint in Llantrisant, Rhondda Cynon Taff, and was released on Tuesday.
