London attack: 'I thought call from brother was a joke'

A woman who was called by her brother to say he had been caught up in a terrorist attack said at first she thought it was a joke.

Llinos said she was "absolutely terrified, sick, shaking" and thought it was a wind-up before realising it would not be something her brother would do.

Gareth - who asked not to give his surname - had locked himself in a toilet with his fiancée and two others as a man entered a London restaurant with a machete.

His sister phoned South Wales Police, who kept her calm and told her what to tell her brother until officers arrived at the scene.

Twelve people have been arrested after the London terror attack which left seven people dead and 48 injured.
