What made Machen mum run marathon with broken leg?

A mother from Machen, in Caerphilly county, completed the last nine miles of a marathon despite having a broken leg.

Claire found it difficult to stand, let alone run, but kept going until she had completed the full 26.2 miles.

She said she pushed on to the end of the race knowing she was raising money to help children like her daughter Lilly, who has autism.
