Gwent Police taunted by Elf on the Shelf

Gwent Police said it has been "inundated with sightings" of a mischievous Christmas elf.

The force has put out an appeal on Twitter for help in tracking down a suspect who has been identified as Elf on the Shelf.

It is said to have escaped from a high security unit and is taunting officers by popping up at locations across the force area.
