Swansea council school parking charge plan 'disgusting'

Proposals to charge teachers to park at schools has prompted criticism from members of the public.

Swansea council is considering bringing in a sliding scale of charges from 1 April.

Each school would be able to decide whether to introduce the charges, which would increase depending on a member of staff's pay.

The local authority said any money raised would stay in the school's own budget.
